Vintage Minimalist Parsons Style Danish Teak Serving/Console table, made in Denmark circa 1960's
Console tables are not easily found in the Danish modern style.
With simple lines and beautiful teak, this unassuming but elegant piece of Mid-Century furniture would look great behind a sofa or lining the wall of a hallway or dining area.
The legs and trim are solid teak. The top is clad in select teak veneer.
Chic architectural design, well crafted, and very usable in scale.
Condition Report:
Construction is strong and sturdy.
Good vintage condition. Wear consistent with age and use.
It has been gently refurbished and refinished with high-quality products.

Provenance:
We have a copy of the original receipt dated 1976 from Georg Jensen Inc. in Toronto where this table was bought with two other Danish items.
Georg Jensen Inc. stores had a separate furniture showroom, they were high-end retailers that sold made-in-Denmark pieces.
…With wartime materials restrictions, Jensen's launched in fall 1942 "The Lunning Collection," a modern furniture collection comprising 21 designs by Jens Risom, executed in-house, along with pieces designed and executed by Otto Christiansen
