Original Vintage Mid-century Danish teak highboard/high sideboard attributed to Axel Christensen for ACO (Axel Christensen Odder) Møbler, or Illum Wikkelsø for Mikael Lauersen Denmark, 1960/70’s.
Spacious and elegantly proportioned sideboard with four sliding doors adorned with tapering elongated spear solid teak handles, the two large compartments with height adjustable shelves on either side, while the center cabinet houses five adjustable green baize-lined drawers with elegant finger joinery, above a row of four drawers with fold-over sculpted handles, on a solid teak frame with four triangular solid teak legs joined by stretchers. The teak veneer displays a warm golden hue with an exquisite pattern. The four doors lend the piece a visually cleaner and more streamlined appearance, providing ample storage space with easy access. All the internal storage areas are fully finished. Making this sideboard as beautiful inside as it is out, with attention to detail throughout. A classic Scandinavian minimalist piece with strong investment value to suit any setting.

Condition: Remarkably well-preserved given its age, displaying only subtle indications of wear — please refer to the photos for a closer look. It has undergone a careful restoration and refinishing process using high-quality materials, where needed. Still present, although hardly noticeable, the one interior panel has a small chip, but hardly noticeable, as well as a repair to the one central handle. Overall in very good condition.
