Kai Lyngfeldt Larsen: A Visionary of Danish Modernism
Kai Lyngfeldt Larsen was a highly respected Danish designer known for his contributions to mid-century modern furniture design. Active during the 1950s and 1960s, Larsen's work embodies the essence of Scandinavian design—characterized by clean lines, elegant simplicity, and an emphasis on functionality.During his career Lyngfeldt Larsens worked on a wide range of design projects, including furniture, textiles, lamps and decorative objects. His style was often characterized by organic forms and bold, vivid colors. Larsen’s designs often showcased his ability to merge form and function effortlessly, with an eye for craftsmanship that reflects the high standards of Danish furniture making. Søren Willadsen
Søren Willadsen was a prominent Danish furniture maker active from the 1940s to the 1960s. Søren Willadsen primarily specialised in producing seating, including armchairs, chairs, and sofas, for renowned designers such as Kai Lyngfeldt Larsen, Kristian Solmer Vedel, Finn Juhl, Illum Wikkelsø, and Nanna Ditzel. Notably, he created the acclaimed office series with 3- or 4-drawer versions for Ditzel in 1958. In 1963, Willadsen also produced the Modus series designed by Kristian Solmer Vedel.
