    Torbjørn Afdal stands as a prominent figure in Scandinavian design, renowned for his contributions to Bruksbo Tegnekontor and the broader design community. His furniture gained international recognition when it was acquired by notable figures such as US First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy and the Japanese Emperor. In later years, Afdal received prestigious commissions to design parliamentary furniture and tables for the courthouse in Oslo, further solidifying his legacy as a pioneering designer in Norway and beyond.

     

     

    We try to capture the condition of our items in our photographs as best as possible. Prior to dispatch all items are carefully cleaned and re-coated with danish oil to ensure your item is looking its best when delivered.

    In our studio workshop, every item undergoes inspection and careful restoration process. We prioritize maintaining the original charm and patina of the piece, while also making it a beautiful addition to modern interiors.
