    Condition:

These chair frames have been lightly revived where needed in our restoration workshop.

Whilst they are in fine original condition, they are vintage, and as such have patination commensurate with their age.

Beautiful colour and patina to the Rosewood with the original leather upholstery.

The set of chairs features leather upholstery with significant patina, including tears in the seats and backs. We chose to leave the leather as is, allowing the new owner to decide on reupholstery. The wooden rosewood frames have been lightly refurbished and refinished, maintaining their exquisite appearance. We prioritize preserving the distinct character and patina of each classic piece. Despite the wear on the leather, these chairs remain valuable and retain their unique charm.

    Condition Report:
The rosewood frames of these chairs are in very good condition and have been gently refurbished to enhance their natural beauty. While the frames are structurally sound, the leather upholstery shows signs of age.

    Frame Condition:

    • Material: Rosewood
    • Condition: Very good, minimal wear
    • Details: The rosewood frames exhibit minimal signs of wear, maintaining their structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. They have been gently refinished to restore their appearance where needed.

    Upholstery Condition:

    • Material: Leather
    • Seats: 3 chairs have new black leather seats, in very good condition.
    • Backrests and Remaining Seats: The original leather on the backrests and some of the other seats show signs of aging, including cracks and tears. This wear is typical for leather of this age and can be easily addressed through reupholstery.

    Recommendations:
Reupholstering the backrests and any remaining seats will restore the chairs to a cohesive and pristine look, matching the new leather seats already in place.

    Summary:
Despite the wear on the leather, these chairs remain valuable and retain their unique charm, offering both historical significance and timeless design. With their beautiful rosewood frames and potential for new leather upholstery, they will combine vintage elegance with refreshed functionality.
