  • Vintage Mid-century Danish Teak High Sideboard/highboard by Farsø Møbelfabrik - Circa 1960/70's

     

    This elegant sideboard, manufactured by Farsø Møbelfabrik in Denmark, embodies the timeless design of the mid-century era. It features a rectangular top above three sliding doors, with elongated wooden handles on the outer doors and incised handles on the central one. The left cabinet houses four cutlery drawers with a green baize interior at the base, along with open storage below. The central and right cabinets each enclosing two detachable shelves, offering versatile storage options. The sideboard stands on four angular tapering cylindrical legs, showcasing impeccable craftsmanship, a rich teak grain, and iconic Danish mid-century lines.

     

    This sideboard is a testament to the enduring appeal of Danish mid-century design and would make an elegant addition to any interior.

     

    The piece comes with its original maker's foil label on the back panel.

     

    Dimensions: 114cm high, 160cm wide, 42cm deep

     

    Condition: Remarkably well-preserved given its age, displaying only subtle indications of wear — please refer to the photos for a closer look. It has undergone a careful restoration and refinishing process using high-quality materials, where needed.
