This unusual and functional Danish influenced teak bureau/desk, has pull-out/ front writing slide with lower opening drawers offering useful storage space. Upper section with left hand sliding door revealing fitted interior and right hand open storage shelf.
This piece will add style and function to your home or office, although vintage in design it's size and layout makes it perfect for use with a laptop.
Measurements: 76,5cm wide, 22cm deep at the top, 41cm deep at the bottom and 124cm high.

In very good condition throughout, having been well looked after throughout its life, it has been gently refurbished and sealed, minor traces of use might still be visible.

Times Furnishings were a London based company who had several stores all over the capital, and were one of the first exponents of the "furnish now, pay later" phenomenon.
The Times Furnishing Company was a national company selling furniture on hire purchase to new homeowners. This brochure shows schemes for furnishing a one room flat, which would have been aimed at city dwellers, mainly in London where space was such a problem.
As they said: 'The one room flat is ideal for a business man or woman providing, of course, it is well planned and wisely furnished.'
