The "Centurion" breakfast tray, a hallmark of Mid-Century modern design, was crafted by Paragon in London during the late 1950s. This tray stands out not only for its great design and functionality but also for its innovative leg-folding mechanism, this superb piece of mid century design won the Good Housekeeping Design Award 1957. Constructed from solid beech for the legs and frame, with a mahogany-faced bentwood for the tray.
By pushing the handles down and to the side, which folds the sprung legs neatly underneath, transforming it into a flat tray. This versatile piece is ideal for serving breakfast in bed or as a convenient laptop tray.

Condition: Very good vintage condition, it has been carefully refurbished and refinished.
Like many Mid-Century pieces, it harmoniously combines sturdy solid wood with a top-grade wood veneer.
