Mid-Century ‘Dane’ dining-room suite in oiled Burma Teak by Frystark (SA). Part of their ‘Status’ Danish-inspired range, 1960’s. A highly sought-after set. Frystark furniture is renowned for its beautiful shape and high-quality manufacturing.
An elegant dining set. The table has a rectangular/centre leaf extension, the removable center leaf slides/stores underneath the table for storage. It has a beautiful book-matched veneer grain.
Status no. 11 ‘Status’ range chairs are all extremely comfortable with contoured seats and backs.

The set is in very good overall condition.
The wood has been meticulously cleaned and polished, the chairs re-upholstered with new foam in high-quality off-white Hertex faux-leather fabric. The frames of the chairs have been preemptively reinforced with steel brackets by the original and only owner.
