Original Vintage Mid-century Danish rosewood and teak nest of three tables
Original Vintage Mid-century Danish rosewood and teak nest of three tables, produced in Denmark circa 1960’s.
The top features a rounded rectangular shape, supported by four tapering cylindrical teak legs, a captivating combination of rich and warm rosewood and teak grain. The tables are wonderfully crafted into perfection, supremely finished, displaying a beautiful rosewood hue and grain. The slender legs lend a minimalist aesthetic to the set.
These nesting tables, in very good condition, serve both a practical and decorative purpose, very functional, to save space, these can easily be pushed together as one, the two smaller tables suspend in the larger one so when together only one set of legs sit on the floor.
Dimensions: The largest table measures 49cm in height, 54cm in width, and 39cm in depth.
Condition: Remarkably well-preserved given its age, displaying only subtle indications of wear — please refer to the photos for a closer look. It has undergone a careful restoration and refinishing process using high-quality materials, where needed. Though some minor areas have previously been discreetly restored, these are hardly discernible. There is one meticulously restored tiny chip on the top edge, and the underside has been reinforced with new screws.
Like many Mid-Century pieces, it harmoniously combines sturdy solid wood with a top-grade wood veneer.
